AK Tutorial

Full tutorial made by me in June of 2009. This training DVD length tutorial covers the complete creation of a modern weapon, the AK74U, using 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, Marmoset, and assorted brushes/plugins.

This is a large download, however this contains over 7 hours of footage! Also included are several of the brushes I used as well as the final asset.

(5/10/10) SUPER IMPORTANT MESSAGE:

This video series was originally made so I could study my own workflow and figure out what I needed to improve on. A couple friends wanted to see the videos so I quickly edited it and voiced it over in what was probably the least professional method ever. I sincerely apologize for the unprofessional nature of this series and at times the extreme annoyance of the voiceovers. Some people may still find this series useful but I should note that it's very outdated and the methods I use now are radically different from what is shown in the videos.

To those who have bothered to sit through the series already, I admire your patience, perseverance, and high tolerance for annoying things. Thank you for your support.
